Dr. Kenneth Gottesfeld served as an army physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology from 1968-1969. The file contains a letter of appreciation from a patient at the William Beaumont General Hospital, report on the use of sonar scans to prevent fetal deaths, a letter from the University of Colorado, and an envelope from the Denver Women's Clinic run by Stuart and Kenneth Gottesfeld.

Dr. Hurst was medical director of the hospital from 1945 to 1951. Dr. Arnold Shamaskin who served as Medical Director and Superintendent of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS). The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. It was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside Denver.
